Role Overview
We are seeking to hire experienced Program Manager – Cloud Migration Assessment - to support the migration assessment and modernization.
Trianz's Ignite Assessment Team delivers cloud migration assessments (EARs - Executive Assessment Reports) to enterprise clients evaluating their journey to AWS and other Cloud Platforms. This Program Manager role sits at the intersection of technical discovery and business conversion owning the narrative that transforms an assessment into a committed migration program.
This is not a traditional PM role. This is a strategic sales-delivery hybrid for someone who can synthesize infrastructure and application complexity into a C-suite business story that drives conversions.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Accountability
Own the EAR narrative, C-suite positioning, deal structure, and conversion readiness from assessment through migration commitment. Drive a 60%+ assess-to-migrate conversion rate through disciplined pipeline management and compelling executive storytelling.
EAR Narrative Ownership
- Shape the EAR deck narrative across Executive Summary, Financial Impact, and Risk Mitigation sections
- Synthesize Infrastructure, Database and Application SA findings into a unified, coherent cloud strategy story
- Ensure the EAR lands as a business case — not a technical report
C-Suite Engagement
- Own the executive conversation: present directly to CTOs, VP Infrastructure, CFOs, and business leaders
- Position financial outcomes: TCO, CapEx/OpEx trade-offs, velocity gains, and risk reduction
- Translate Trianz's Concierto platform capabilities and wave planning into boardroom language
Conversion Pipeline Management
- Manage the assessment-to-migration conversion pipeline: decision timeline, stakeholder alignment, objection tracking
- Identify and neutralize blockers between EAR delivery and Phase 2(online assessment) commitment
- Drive urgency without damaging trust — know when to push and when to let the case build
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the Project Manager on customer readiness between EAR readout and conversion milestone
- Collaborate with the Lead Program Manager on deal structure, Phase 2 scope definition, and conversion metrics
- Work alongside Engagement Leaders to ensure technical findings are represented accurately in the narrative
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 12-14 years of experience with 5+ years of Program management
- 7+ years in enterprise technology sales, consulting, or cloud program management
- Demonstrated track record of closing or converting enterprise technology decisions at C-suite level
- Deep familiarity with cloud economics : TCO modeling, CapEx/OpEx framing, ROI construction
- Experience presenting complex technical strategies to non-technical executive audiences
- Strong command of AWS services, cloud migration patterns, and the 7Rs framework
- Proficiency with executive deck construction - you write the narrative, not just the slides
